Hall of Justice X Fiction Brewing Beer Collaboration

If you were a part of this glorious day then you know it was one of the finest events ever. The incredible Hall of Justice Comics collaborated with Fiction Brewing in Parker, Colorado. They got to create a brew of their own. (Also sometimes referred to as the Beer Bodega). The entire squad at HOJ dumped all of the glorious goodness into the vat. They created what was probably my favorite beverage I’ve had there. (Probably just being biased because hawt diddle have there been a few damn good brews). It only felt right to bring those times back in a flashback Friday post. This is for all of our followers who never watched the video. It is also for those who didn’t get to experience this incredible event in person. We had way too many beers than we should have and it was the finest of time. Checkout some of the shots of the event below.

Our First Beer Label Was Live!

When Randy asked if we would do this label I think my body started levitating into the lands of Thanos. After designing for over 16 years I had yet to get to create a design for a beer label that would actually go out into the wild. Clearly it’s always been a dream since I love two things the most. Comics. Brews. Duh. The artwork you got to see at the very top of this post which we made to be Jon wearing a batman cowl. Had to show a little more spicy comic book zest into there so people got the gist a little more. Plus I just had to add some more Lucious flow behind it because … well … ART! Behind it you will see the Hall of Justice building with a little old Randy creeping in the background staring at the Graffiti that says Randy is a Grump. My ode to one of the finest dudes I know in the comic book world. Nothing like showing your love by dropping that he’s a grump in the beer art right? Walking into this place before the event began was just so legendary. All our friends from the comic world and then all the homies who showed up from our hockey squad and family friends. Was just an absolutely incredible sight. Just Abby and stinker helped hold the fort down at the booth as you can see below. Also I only apparently took one photo of my actual IPYAY beer because we were too busy filming every last bit of the show.

Yes, the audio is absolutely booty cheeks. It was insanely bananas in there. The space was surrounded by all of the comic book loving heathens which made it extra rowdy. Hot damn, it was incredible! We asked everyone who their favorite comic book characters were. We also asked what their favorite beer was. We also got to find out who Jorge Corona’s favorite character to draw was. You’ll have to give it a watch to find that out … and if you do, let us know what you think in the comments. We may have also recorded a live episode while we were there too. We’ll let you dig for that one if you really want. It was a mess HA! But either way. Cheers and enjoy!! We sure did.

Need Your Next Label Designed?

We loved it like no other and can’t wait to hopefully get to do this again one day. If you or someone you know is brewing up some magic and needs their next label, be sure to give us a holler. Hit the button below and shoot us an email.
