Well ladies and gentlemen if you didn’t know now you know! We try to rip a foil Friday every Friday but we have been slacking a wee bit since the holidays. It only felt right to rip the next one right out of Hell with Hellverine #1! This is the second series of this title where we now know who the Hellverine actually is … and it isn’t Logan. What’s Hellverine All About?
HELLVERINE RIDES AGAIN IN HIS FIRST ONGOING SERIES! It’s hellfire-fueled, claw-slashing action in the Mighty Marvel Manner as HELLVERINE blazes a new path across the Marvel Universe! The demon BAGRA-GHUL possessed WOLVERINE, turning him into a killing machine… but LOGAN is no stranger to caging the beast within his soul, and the demon learned his heroic ways. Now it’s resurrected AKIHIRO, and the two must learn to live as one-the HELLVERINE! But they can’t do it alone… Enter: DOCTOR STRANGE! I’m still reading up on the first series where Logan is hunting down the “new” hellverine. If you read the X books during the fall of Krakow, you know that Sabretooth sliced him up. Logan found the pieces in the snow. Ya … it was brutal. So if you haven’t read that either, I’d recommend giving it a read. It’s best if you enjoy blood and guts, because all of those issues with Sabretooth vs Wolverine were pretty wild.
