The Straight Up Definition of Comics & Brews

My dream for Comics and Brews as many of you know was to create a bottle house (one day tap house). BUT the main end goal behind it all was to be able to do collaborations like this where we could do actual comic book themed brews with breweries around the country. Imagine a brew collaboration with Cerebral where it’s Krang themed from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles? Or M.O.D.O.K because he for sure has a massive brain up in that huge bodiless head of his. Seeing this Eight Billion Genies brew on the rack made me so happy. Half Acre … if you ever read this I envy you times 1,000,000 haha. So cool. Check it out below and I’ll give you some details on the beer itself. But wow. Hats off to Half Acre for getting this glorious brew done.

This glorious beer is a Double IPA with Strata, Mosaic and Citra. My dad would think this absolutely slaps because he’s a big Mosaic guy. Guess I’ll have to save him a can or 2. But I crushed this beauty on new years with the boys and hot diddle it was pretty solid. Looks like I totally didn’t rate it yet on Untappd since I was probably already a solid 5-6 beers deep but I do remember it being quite tasty. Guess I’ll just have to have another one to give it a legit rating. I found this beer at Bevvy’s in Parker Colorado so if you happen to have a Bevvy’s near you be sure to swoop this 4-pack up and give 8 Billion genies a read while you’re at it.
