We journeyed to Utah for Christmas and found 2 new breweries we had yet to add to our list
Zion Brewing
Our favorite spot was in St.George Utah right off of Main Street in a great location. This spot was incredible and actually used to be a Firehouse. I would kill to have a setup like this. There were 3 levels, a full dancing area and glorious outdoor seating. You could most def tell this place gets rowdy (for Utah) on the weekends. One thing I didn’t know at the time was that they are actually Utah’s first ever microbrewery. Like what? There’s not many out there which is why I think we need us some Comics & Brews out in Utah to serve them the glorious nectar. Utah beers just aren’t quite there yet. I’d say my average Untappd rating here was a 3.5. Check out some of the brews below.
We crushed a flight & a couple of pints to get a lil taste of them all. Also had a pitcher with a dude named Pepper. If you ever read this Pepper cheers to you my dude!

Silver Reef Brewing
Our first brewery pitstop in St.George was Silver Reef Brewing. They for sure had some incredible eats (We got that charcuterie board and sweet berry wine was it incredible). The beer was decent but nothing too crazy. With Utah beers maxing out on tap at 5% it makes them all a wee bit iffy. Therefore, I of course had to grab some to-go beers to taste the real nectar. While each can had some incredible artwork I hate to say but I think the best beer out of them all was the Java Madre at a 3.75. Nothing had shocking flavor and mostly just pretty standard flavor. They do have their own cocktails there as well if you’re not looking to get bubble guts to the max. Overall the atmosphere was great but its location was also in the middle of nowhere in an industrial park. It’s a fun spot just to try since there’s literally no breweries around but don’t expect to be too shocked. As you can see below Just Abby was clearly stoked on it.

Let’s chat beer. Especially Utah beer. Since we’re possibly moving to these parts in the next year our goal is to provide some of the most banging beers from our homelands of California, Colorado and Wisconsin. Utah is just missing the absolute best brews and I think their eyes still need to be opened to all the greatness available out there. What do you thin?
