Welcome to the Drunk History of The Badger! Check out the full podcast below

Here’s a quick breakdown of what you’re in for:

The Wild and twisted world of Wisconsin’s very own homegrown hero created by the infamous Mike Barron. We had to rock this episode of course because Just Abby is from the fine land of Wisconsin which we dabble a bit in within the episode.

The Badger, also known as Norbert Sykes. 🚀

Norbert Sykes’ traumatic childhood starts in Madison, Wisconsin and continues on with his tumultuous journey through the Vietnam War – The divine intervention by ‘the God of the Badger’ and Norbert’s multiple personalities, including Badger, Pierre, and Emily.

We take you then to his friendship with Hammaglystwythkbrngxxaxolotl (Ham) which might just be one of the best comic book character names I’ve ever heard in my life. On top of that Ham is also a 5th-century Celtic Druid

Norbert battles against animal abusers and corporate polluters which makes him even more of a legend in my eyes. One of his ability to converse with ghost celebrities like John Wayne and Bruce Lee which is just a nice little cherry on top.

What’s a story without a good old heart-wrenching love story too? In this case it’s the badger and Mavis Davis

WeldWerks Brewing Co. from Greeley, CO • Medianoche Reserve (2024) which of course did not disappoint. We gave it a 4.75 out of 5 on Untappd so if you have the chance to get it, DO IT!
